No Nonsense Muscle Building E-book ReviewedVince DelMonte's Skinny Man's Guide to Gaining Muscle
Vince DelMonte's No Nonsense Muscle Building e-book is dedicated to helping ectomorphs gaining pounds of muscle, but does it live up to the hype? Find out in this review.
Vince DelMonte's No Nonsense Muscle Building e-book has been one of the fastest selling packages of its kind dedicated to helping ectomorphs, or those men who have the notorious predisposition to being skinny, bulk up in record time. Background on Author Vince DelMonteVince DelMonte, a Canadian Fitness Model, personal trainer and business entrepreneur was once a 140 pound distance runner. Tired of his willowy physique, DelMonte turned to weight-lifting to enhance his self esteem and body image. He found it nearly impossible to gain muscle however, and seemed to only be able to pack on pounds of fat around his core muscles due to his high calorie diet. Not one to give up however, Vince DelMonte eventually achieved his goals, adding over forty pounds of muscle to his frame and winning countless fitness competitions after he uncovered the 'secret' to muscle gain for thin men. A secret that can now cost you $77 to obtain in the form of his 227 page e-book and recourse package, No Nonsense Muscle Building Whilst 40 pounds of added muscle in six months, as the book claims, sounds spurious at best and an outright impossibility at worst, the underlining methods to Vince DelMonte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building program are, in fact, quite sound. Vince DelMonte outlines that, chiefly, men with so-called 'skinny genetics' have been fed incorrect information based on body-building techniques for men already predisposed to growing muscle due to their body type. Ectomorphs, by their nature, have smaller frames and are designed to carry less bulk, be it fat or muscle, with higher metabolisms and very little appetite. This led DelMonte to conclude that the usual rep and set ranges that are propagated in fitness magazines are not relevant for the ectomorph or skinny guy, and therein his training routine was born and, eventually, so was No Nonsense Muscle Building What is in Vince DelMonte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building E-book? In No Nonsense Muscle Building Vince DelMonte advocates the use of a volume training method coupled with paused repetitions to enable the ectormorph to work at peak efficiency with the highest weight possible over a duration that is enough to completely exhaust all the muscle fibres being worked. This and many other principles are explained in fastidious detail in the No Nonsense Muscle Building guide, and yet, by minimising the scientific jargon with a bare-bones approach, Vince DelMonte manages to create a guide that is extremely readable, if sometimes requiring a second glance at some of the chapters. The layout of the book is perhaps its main weakness, in that chapters do seem to bleed together and borrow from one another somewhat. However, all the necessary subjects are present, with a few non-essential but inspired chapters also, where author Vince DelMonte outlines the nutritional requirements of the ectomorph that go beyond just simple lists of do’s and don’ts. Concluding Thoughts on No Nonsense Muscle Building by Vince DelMonte. No Nonsense Muscle Building has achieved literally dozens of accolades, and Vince DelMonte has gone on to write several more e-books based around his 'No Nonsense' principles, and rightly so. There is a lot of content within the book that, after closer inspection, is really quite obvious to even the laymen. This is, however, to its credit. What No Nonsense Muscle Building does very well is that it dispels myths, such as ideas that the next supplement will be the one to give the gym goer his perfect body, and instead advocates concentrating on the basics of nutrition, recovery and exercise (in that order) to really achieve those goals. And whilst Vince DelMonte’s claims of achieving pounds and pounds of muscle gain in six months sound improbable, the principles laid out in No Nonsense Muscle Building do, in fact, at least partially support the hype. As such, this program is recommended for those struggling with being thin, or wanting to break down plateaus that they may have already encountered in their training. However, it would be recommended to have a good foundation in fitness before beginning the No Nonsense Muscle Building program.
